GU18 Gold Challenge Cup State Champions!!

(May 3, 2009) Congratulations to FC Alliance G90 Gold, the 2009 GU18 STATE CHAMPIONS!

Under the guidance of coaches Jose Quiray and Dennis Gunnell, these talented Alliance players demonstrated great team chemistry, dedication and determination in achieving their goal. This was a total team effort. The Championship match was played Sunday at Starfire with FC Alliance winning 4-3 (PKs) over FC Crush.  After trailing by 3 goals our FCA team fought back hard to tie the game 3-3 in regulation play.  No goals were scored in overtime taking the teams to kicks from the mark.  The kicks went into the sixth round with FCA goalkeeper Katrina King making the stop.  Tremendous effort by all the girls - Congratulations!!  Read their inspiring story ....
