Does This Sound Like You?
You May Have Started with Recreational Community Soccer, But...
…There’s another world of youth soccer out there: premier club soccer.  Most people start their children in recreational soccer, but approximately 15% of children graduate to club soccer by the time they are 10 or 12 years old.  Premier select soccer may have been hidden from your view until now, but it’s been here all along.  FC Alliance is happy to bring premier select soccer opportunities to your attention.   We are the premier club of the Northshore Youth Soccer Association.

What Is Premier Club Soccer?
Simply put, a premier sport is one in which the best possible teams are assembled to compete in a league.  Once assembled, such teams generally stay together for years, however, players are required to tryout every year.  The level of play is much higher than in recreational programs.  Our premier teams are formed by tryouts in March, and they are trained by experienced, licensed compensated coaches.

Who Plays Premier Club Soccer?
Players choose premier soccer to be challenged, to experience professional coaching, and because they see soccer as part of their identities.  Both boys and girls from age 9 to 18 play premier soccer .  These children are normal in size and shape, though they are naturally competitive, reasonably athletic, and eager to learn new things.  Each week, they practice two times and play a competitive league game, just like their friends on recreational teams.  They play other sports and participate in other typical childhood activities.  Several players from each team may live in the same city, but it is likely that several cities will be represented in each team.

How Will I Know When My Child is Ready for Premier soccer ?
Listen to your child. Does he/she come home from soccer practice frustrated by the other players who just want to goof around?  Are you frustrated because your child’s practices seem disorganized or that your child knows more soccer than the “coach?”  Is he/she frustrated by being told in games to score less or play less intensely?  Is your child disappointed when he/she is moved to a row of immobile defenders after scoring three goals in a game?  If these questions sound familiar, then your family is ready for premier soccer .
