Silver Cup coffee orders available for pick-up starting Friday, Dec 16th

GOOD NEWS: Silver Cup coffee orders have arrived Friday, December 16th, and are ready for pick-up.

COFFEE ORDER ARRIVAL: two FC Alliance parents -- Nathan & Shelley Hood - have graciously offered their place of business to distribute the the Silver Cup coffee order.

LOCATION: Custom Contract Embroidery, 18730 - 142nd Avenue NE, Woodinville, WA, 98072, 425-609-2270 (office).

Team representatives should check in with the front office when you arrive, and get your Team's Manila Envelope of your players' paper coffee orders. Then, you will go around back to pick-up your team’s order. Custom Contract Embroidery is open from 7:am to 4:pm, Monday to Friday.

Please ask a Team Parent to pick up your entire team’s order, and help distribute it to the team.
I’ve asked Silver Cup to bundle the FCA coffee order by team. Each team parent can pick up the entire team’s order. That parent should also pick up the Merchandise Order Sheets for each player. These orders are in a Plastic File Box, in Large Manilla Envelopes and marked with the Team Name, at Custom Contract Embroidery’s front office. I suggest the Team Parent leave the coffee merchandise at a team parent’s home, that is centrally located for the team, where parents/players can come and get their individual orders.

PLEASE EMAIL CHRIS WITH QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS: crylko@fcalliance.net.

Healthy Team Fundraiser for Teams offered by Washington Youth Soccer

Thanks to Wasington Youth Soccer, FCA teams have a new fundraising partner:  With Stemilt Growers’ Bountiful fruit fundraising program, FCA teams can raise funds with a local company and healthy products! The Mathisons, founding family of Stemilt, have been growing premium apples and pears in eastern Washington since the early 1900’s. Now, Washington Youth Soccer clubs and associations have an opportunity to raise funds by selling boxes of premium-quality Stemilt apples and pears.

Teams participating in the fundraiser get a 33% profit on each box of healthy fruit that is sold. With boxes ranging from $25-35, that’s a profit range of $8.25-$11.55 per box. For more information, to go the WYS website by clicking here.

All Team Volunteers must have RMA Clearance

We appreciate all the parents who step forward to volunteer for their team -- THANK YOU !  However, for the safety of the children, Washington Youth Soccer requires that all adult volunteers obtain a Washington State Patrol Risk Management Clearance.  Even parents helping at car washes, or operating the team bake sale, need this clearance. The good news is that this clearance is FREE and easy.

Go to FC Alliance's BONZI registration page http://fcalliance.bonzidev.com/sam/registration.  Click on "Volunteer Registration" and proceed according to the instructions.

VOLUNTEERS ROCK !  We couldn't make soccer happen for FC Alliance's players without you - thank you for getting your RMA clearance today!

A Synopsis of Robert's Rules of Order

Robert’s Rules of Order are used during Board Meetings to facilitate the decision-making process. They ensure that discussion is clear, and that the rights of both the majority and the minority are protected. Below are some of the basic rules within Bob’s Rules that help a meeting run more smoothly and keep discussion on track. The rules, however, are not meant to disrupt or hold-up a meeting, and may be suspended if a member is using them for those purposes.

There is provision within Robert’s Rules to suspend the rules, and often at the committee level a consensus decision-making process is employed.
