As the Director of Coaching, my role is to enhance the growth and learning of both coaches and players. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Focus on player and coach development through education and specialized programs.
- Facilitate and instruct up to 5 different levels of licensing programs, including State Courses such as the E and D Licenses.
- Support all coaching staff in their coaching needs, including assisting with training sessions, game evaluations and team try-outs.
- Work with the Board of Directors including attending monthly meetings.
- Create and maintain Coaching Instructional Manuals for ages U6 thru U18.
- Create and maintain various programs to develop players, including the U6 program and the Junior and Youth Academy Programs.
- Develop, facilitate and instruct both spring and summer camp programs.
Head Coach 1993 – Present
As a Head Coach, I have coached all ages, both boys and girls teams, from U11 thru U18 for ADP/FC Alliance.
Current Teams:
- U18 Girls – FCA 92 Gold - Premier 1 (P1) team – I have been with this team for three years. The team moved from P2 to P1 in its first year by taking first place in their bracket. The girls have remained a competitive P1 team. WSA State Cup Quarter Finalist in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011.
- U14 Girls – FCA 96 Gold – PDL Division 3 team – This is my second year coaching this team.
Achievements:
- FCA 86 Gold – P2 League Champions. WSA State Cup Finalists in 2004 and 2005.
- ADP Spectre – WSA State Cup Champions.
