Program Overview

The Club’s objective is to provide progressive training and appropriate competition for dedicated soccer players who reside within District II of the State of Washington. Our primary focus remains the development of players, rather than the win-loss record. Our players are pro active in their own development, establishing personal goals and executing the appropriate steps to achieve these goals. In this regard, we offer goalkeeper specific training and supplemental skills training for individual field players on a regular basis.   Players who strive to play on their junior high, high school or college soccer teams will benefit from the high quality soccer training they receive from playing premier soccer.

We select and form teams for the most dedicated players to participate at the most competitive levels of the WSYSA Premier League.

The program minimizes conflict with other advanced soccer programs such as the Olympic Development Program (ODP), as well, as school soccer.  Our aim is to provide the highest caliber of training and education so that individual players may pursue advanced opportunities if they wish.   When you’re ready to take your game to the next level, you’re ready for FC Alliance!

Facilities

Our teams enjoy first-rate facilities. Teams practice and play on grass fields owned by the Northshore School District and the City of Bothell. When the grass fields close, practices and games move to the lighted turf fields at Inglemoor, Bothell and Woodinville High Schools, Pop Keeney Stadium and the North Creek fields. Few other clubs have access to the quality of fields FC Alliance enjoys.

Recently, our parent organization, the Northshore Youth Soccer Association, has entered into an agreement with King County to spend over $500,000 towards building two new championship sized lighted "field turf" fields at the Carol Edwards Center in downtown Woodinville.

Affordability
We’re proud to be the Eastside’s affordable choice for quality soccer training. Our Club fees typically run below those of comparable clubs, and monthly training fees for coach compensated teams are well below that charged by many other clubs.

The NYSA fee level is higher than for the recreational program, primarily to cover the additional costs of fields for practices and games, pay referees, directors and trainers.

Commitment
As a member of FC Alliance, families are expected to make a strong commitment to our program. Practices begin shortly after tryouts in mid-March and can continue through state cup play the following March. Our organization is run by volunteers, and families are expected to assume volunteer roles within their team or within FC Alliance.

FC Alliance is governed by an elected board. Each team elects a representative to serve on the board; each member votes their team’s position on Club business. The executive committee is comprised of the club officers,  who are elected by the team representatives. Board meetings are held the 3rd Monday of each month, starting at 7 p.m., at the Seattle Times North Creek facility.

Guests are welcome; please let the President or Secretary know in advance if you would like something placed on the agenda.
